To alleviate counter congestion and reduce waiting times, please make an appointment before visiting the ward office if 4 or more foreign residents are completing moving-related procedures (moving in, moving out, change of address) at the same time. 窓口混雑緩和及び待ち時間の短縮のため、4人以上同時の外国人の方の引っ越し（転入・転出・転居）に関するお手続きは、区役所への来庁予約をお願いいたします。
If you are a foreign resident
- 5 Residence Card or Special Permanent Resident Certificate (for foreign nationals) 5 在留カードまたは特別永住者証明書（外国人の方）
- Please bring your Residence Card, etc., as your new address will be printed on the back. 裏面に新住所を記載するため、在留カード等をお持ちください。
- Note: Required for all foreign nationals moving in. 注記：転入される外国人の方全員分が必要です。
- When registering relationships in a foreign national household, the original documents proving the relationship are required. 外国人の世帯で続柄を登録する場合、続柄を証明する書類の原本が必要になります。
- Please bring a foreign passport and documents proving the relationship (marriage certificate, birth certificate, family register items, etc.). 外国旅券（パスポート）や、続柄の証明（結婚証明書や出生証明書、戸籍記載事項など）をお持ちください。
- Note: For documents prepared in a foreign language, please bring a translation with the translator clearly identified. 注記：外国語によって作成された書類については、翻訳者を明らかにした訳文をお持ちください。

- Please note that you cannot complete the moving-in procedures until you have actually started living at your new address in Toshima Ward (豊島区). 転入の手続きは、実際に豊島区の新しい住所に住み始めていないとできませんのでご注意ください。
- Moving-in procedures cannot be completed without attaching a Moving-Out Certificate (転出証明書) or a certificate equivalent to a Moving-Out Certificate. 転出証明書や転出証明書に準ずる証明書の添付がないと転入の手続きは行えません。

Worth knowing when moving in
- If you were undergoing procedures for various allowances, medical certificates, etc. at your previous address, separate procedures are required, so please bring the relevant documents. 前住所で各種手当・医療証等の手続きをされていた場合は、別途手続きがありますので関連書類をお持ちください
- If the moving-in date is retroactive by 1 year or more from the notification date, documents confirming that you have lived there from that date until the present (such as an apartment lease contract) are required. 転入日が届出日より1年以上遡る場合は、その日から現在まで住んでいたことが確認できる資料（アパートの賃貸借契約書など）が必要です。
- Note 1: Persons from a different household are considered agents even if they are relatives, and a power of attorney from the person moving in is required. For the procedure, please check "転入届：代理人が手続きをするとき" (Moving-in Notification: When an Agent Performs the Procedure). 注記1：別世帯の方は親族でも代理人となり、転入される方からの委任状が必要です。手続きに関しては「転入届：代理人が手続きをするとき」をご確認ください。
- Note: If you used the special moving-out procedure (特例転出), it must be within 30 days from the planned moving date (planned moving-out date) reported at your previous address. After this period has passed, you will not be able to submit a moving-in notification using your Individual Number Card (My Number Card). Please note that a moving-out certificate (転出証明書) will be required as before. 注記：特例転出を利用した場合は前住所地で転出手続きの際に届け出た引越し予定日（転出予定日）から30日以内です。上記期間経過後はマイナンバーカードを使った転入の届出はできません。従来通り、転出証明書が必要になりますのでご注意ください。
