Getting help — or helping someone — takes about a minute.
1. Post what you need
Write your request in whatever language you're comfortable with. We auto-translate it into English, 中文, and 日本語 so the right neighbour can understand it.
2. Neighbours offer to help
People nearby who can help send you an offer with a short message. You'll see their profile, languages, and reviews.
3. Pick someone and chat
Accept the offer that fits best. A private chat opens so you can agree on the details — when, where, and what you need.
4. Meet and help
Meet up (or help online) and get it done. Follow the safety basics: public place first, never hand over documents or money.
5. Leave a review
Afterwards, leave a quick review. Reviews build trust so the whole community can help each other with confidence.
Is it free?
Yes. TokyoHelp is free to use. It's mutual aid between neighbours, not a gig marketplace.
