Apply for the IC-chip My Number Card - a photo ID used for tax, insurance, online procedures, and identity verification.

Where: Municipal office / J-LIS · When: Any time. Issuance takes about 1 month after you apply.

Steps

  1. 1Apply online, by post, or at a photo booth using your application ID / form.
  2. 2Wait for the collection notice from your municipality (about 1 month).
  3. 3Collect the card in person at city hall and set your PINs.
