Worth knowing when moving in

When submitting a notification of moving in as a housemate, common-law wife, common-law husband, or relative/dependent to a household of someone already registered as a resident in Shibuya City, a letter of consent (PDF 43KB) from the head of the new household is required. (Not required if you come to the office together with the head of the new household.) すでに渋谷区内で住民登録をしている人の世帯に同居人、妻（未届）、夫（未届）、縁故者という続柄で転入の届出をする際は、異動先の世帯主の同意書（PDF 43KB）が必要です。（異動先の世帯主と一緒に来庁する場合は不要です。）

Individuals who hold an Individual Number Card (My Number Card) must complete procedures for continued use of the card and the associated issuance of an electronic certificate for digital signatures (for individuals aged 15 and older) when submitting the notification of moving in. マイナンバーカードをお持ちの人は、転入届出時に継続利用とそれに伴う署名用電子証明書発行（15歳以上の人）の手続きを行う必要があります。

At the 夜間・休日窓口 (Night/Holiday Window), only the receipt (temporary custody) of notification forms is conducted, and staff in charge of family register affairs will examine the contents of the notification form, attached documents, etc., on or after the next opening day. On or after the next opening day, you may be requested to visit the office in order to verify the original copies of the attached documents. 夜間・休日窓口では、届書の受領（預かり）のみ行い、翌開庁日以降に戸籍事務担当職員が届書の記載内容・添付書類などの審査を行います。翌開庁日以降、添付書類の原本を確認させていただくために、来庁をお願いする場合があります。
