You can make an appointment for the date and time to visit the 大田区役所戸籍住民窓口 (Ota City Office Family Registry and Resident Service Counter) for procedures related to changes in resident registration. (Note: Excluding 夜間窓口 [night counters] and 休日窓口 [holiday counters]). After your reservation is completed, a reception number will be sent to you, so please present the reception number at the 大田区役所戸籍住民窓口. Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. This service is not handled at 特別出張所 (Special Branch Offices). Please note that notifications of moving in (転入) and moving within the city (転居) can only be made after your move has taken place. Please make your reservation for a date and time after completing your move. 住民異動の手続きで、大田区役所戸籍住民窓口に来庁する日時を予約することができます。（注）夜間窓口、休日窓口を除く。予約完了後に受付番号が送信されますので、大田区役所戸籍住民窓口で受付番号を提示してください。 2週間先まで予約可能です。特別出張所では取り扱っておりません。なお、転入・転居の届出はお引越し以降から可能となります。お引越し完了後の日時で、ご予約をお願いいたします。

If your passport has the "在留カード後日交付印" (stamp for resident card issued at a later date), procedures cannot be accepted at 特別出張所 (Special Branch Offices). It can only be accepted at 本庁舎 (Main City Hall). 「在留カード後日交付印」のあるパスポートをお持ちの方は、特別出張所では受付できません。本庁舎のみの受付となります。
At 平日夜間窓口 (weekday night counter) and 休日窓口 (holiday counter), when accepting moving-in/moving notification (住民異動届) for foreign residents, updating the new address on the Special Permanent Resident Certificate or Resident Card (在留カード) cannot be performed. Updating the address on the Special Permanent Resident Certificate or Resident Card is only processed during weekday office hours (from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). In addition, moving in from abroad (国外からの転入) is not accepted. 平日夜間窓口及び休日窓口では、外国人住民の方の住民異動届をお預かりする際、特別永住者証明書、在留カードに転入、転居後の住居地の記載はできません。特別永住者証明書、在留カードへの住居地の記載については、平日開庁時間（午前8時半から午後5時まで）での取り扱いとなります。なお、国外からの転入はお預かりしていません。

In addition, on the 3rd Sunday, due to system maintenance, moving-in notifications using the My Number Card (マイナンバーカード) cannot be accepted for those holding a resident card (在留カード) without the entry for "Period of Stay (e.g., '1 year', '3 years', etc.)" ("在留期間（例「1年」「3年」等）"). なお、第3日曜日は、システムメンテナンスのため、「在留期間（例「1年」「3年」等）」の記載がない在留カードをお持ちの方は、マイナンバーカードを利用した転入届のお預かりはできません。

Accepted (custodied) notifications will be examined on an open office day to determine whether they satisfy the requirements stipulated by the Civil Code and the Family Register Act, etc., and a decision on whether to accept them will be made. For marriage notifications involving a foreign national or reports of marriages concluded overseas, the required supplementary documents vary depending on the spouse's nationality or the country where the marriage took place. 外国籍の方との婚姻届や海外で成立した婚姻の報告については、婚姻相手の国籍や婚姻成立国によって添付していただく書類が異なります。
In addition to the Marriage Notification form (婚姻届書) and the Japanese national's Certificate of All Matters in the Family Register (戸籍全部事項証明書) (not required if filing at the registered domicile), documents proving the foreign national's citizenship or passport, as well as a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage (婚姻要件具備証明書), are required. 婚姻届書と日本人の方の戸籍全部事項証明書（届出先が本籍地の場合は不要）のほかに、外国籍の方の国籍を証明する書面又はパスポート及び、婚姻要件具備証明書が必要です。
