Furthermore, Minato City (港区) offers an appointment service (「来庁予約」) exclusively for those who have completed moving-in (転入) or moving-out/change-of-address (転居) procedures via Mynaportal (マイナポータル), allowing you to reserve a time slot for submitting moving-in notifications (転入届), so you can complete your procedures without waiting at the ward office counter (区役所窓口). 港区ではさらに、マイナポータル経由で転入や転居の手続を行った方限定で、転入届等の受付時間帯の予約が可能な「来庁予約」を実施しており、区役所窓口で待たずに手続できます。
If you are a foreign resident
- Foreign nationals who received a Residence Card at the airport (including those whose passport is stamped with "Residence Card to be issued at a later date") are also required to submit a notification. 空港で在留カードが交付された外国人（パスポートに「在留カード後日交付」と記載された人を含む。）も届出をする必要があります。
- Residence Cards, Special Permanent Resident Certificates, or former Alien Registration Certificates for all moving-in persons 転入者全員の在留カード、特別永住者証明書または旧外国人登録証明書
- Original documents issued by your home country confirming family or marital relationships, and their translations 本国で発行された家族や夫婦関係を確認できる書類（原本）とその翻訳文
- Required only when foreign residents move in as a household of 2 or more people, such as families or married couples. 外国人住民で、家族や夫婦等、2人以上の世帯で転入する場合のみ必要です。
- If you submitted a moving-out notification using an Individual Number Card (including Specified Residence Card and Specified Special Permanent Resident Certificate), your moving-in notification cannot be processed without presenting the card. マイナンバーカード（特定在留カード、特定特例永住者証明書含む）による転出届をされた人は、カードの提示がない場合は、転入届を受付できません。
Worth knowing when moving in
- A three-way conversation can be held among the person who needs foreign language support, an interpreter operator, and the ward staff (区の職員). 外国語対応が必要な人、通訳オペレーター、区の職員の3人で会話ができます。
- * You cannot submit the notification before you start living at the address. ※住み始める前の届出はできません。
- * My Number Cards installed on iPhones cannot be used. Please be sure to bring the physical card. ＊iPhone搭載のマイナンバーカードは使用できません。必ず実物をご持参ください。
- * Please note that, in principle, you cannot register an address at hotels, weekly apartments, company offices, etc. ※ホテルやウィークリーマンション、会社の事務所等には原則、住所を置くことはできませんので、ご了承ください。
- * For those who submitted a moving-out notification (転出届) using a My Number Card (マイナンバーカード), procedures may not be possible if more than 30日 have passed since the planned moving-out date. ※マイナンバーカードによる転出届をされた人は、転出予定日から30日を越えると手続きできない場合があります。

They are not handled at 各総合支所 (Regional City Offices) or 台場分室 (Daiba Branch Office). Depending on the content, you may be requested to correct the notification form at a later date. ※上記受付時間外は区役所本庁舎の宿直室窓口で「戸籍届書」をお預かりするだけとなります。各総合支所・台場分室では扱っていません。内容によっては、後日、届書を補正していただく場合もあります。
- At 台場分室 (Daiba Branch Office), only birth and death notifications are accepted, and marriage notifications and other filings are not accepted. 台場分室では出生、死亡の届出書のみ受け付け、婚姻届等は受け付けていません。
